In Hoop 1 student will add to skills they learned in Intro. Students can expect to learn new skills, mounts, dismounts, and transitions while getting stronger and also having the option to incorporate spinning in more ways. Students will also be encouraged to experiment and explore on the Hoop. Come prepared to work hard and have fun!
Instructor permission Must have taken minimum 12 weeks of Intro to Hoop Must have safe Bent arm Straddle mount with chest through at top Must have safe, stable, hands free Man on the Moon Must have safe baby knee beats with good form Must be able to safely and cleanly get to sit in Hoop without help Must be able to hold 5 second bent arm tuck hang Must demonstrate consistent leg engagement throughout Must be able to demonstrate spin control Mastery of most if not all Intro to Hoop skills
