In this class we will focus on dives such as 360, tick tock, and salto, as well as belay, single star, bottle opener and more. Students are expected to have a solid understanding of foundational skills and positions and be able to execute them with proper form and technique. A strong focus will be placed on over all understanding of good form, "what's holding you up and why does it work?" and the ability to give verbal explanations. Creativity and performance exercises will also be a part of the class.
Minimum of 12 weeks of Silks 3, or private lessons Instructor permission 3 knee climbs, starting on the less-dominant side and switching sides with good form Execute Rebecca Split sequence with good form on both sides and a verbal explanation 3 connected straddles with straight legs Fankick to waist lock in the air both sides with reasonably good form 2-minute sequence to demonstrate endurance Student must have mastery of most skills taught in level 3
